Water & Water Additive Fire Extinguishers
The water and water additive extinguishers are ideal for tackling fires involving burning paper, wood and soft furnishing (Class A fires). The water soaks into the materials and cools them, whilst extinguishing the fire.
Foam Fire Extinguishers (AFFF)
Foam extinguishers are ideal for tackling fires involving burning paper, wood and soft furnishing (Class A fires) and oil, paraffin or petrol (Class B fires). The extinguisher forms a film over the fire to prevent the fire re-igniting.
Powder Fire Extinguishers
Powder fire extinguishers are ideal for tackling fires involving burning paper, wood and soft furnishing (Class A fires), oil, paraffin or petrol (Class B fires) and titanium, aluminium or magnesium (Class C fires).
CO2 Fire Extinguishers
These extinguishers are ideal for tackling fires involving oil, paraffin or petrol (Class B fires) and electrical equipment also.
